She studied photography at Pratt Institute and Parsons The New School for Design, has a BA, MA in Psychology, Post-Master’s Certificate in Sustainable Strategies, and MFA in Poetry from The New School. She is an ordained Interfaith Minister from One Spirit Learning Alliance.

Experience
Faculty of Sustainable Systems at Parsons School of Design with over 10 years of professional experience in Education for Sustainability. Alison creates and instructs project and nature based curriculum in public schools. She is currently teaching Storytelling to elementary school students in Bedstuy.
Freelance photographer for artists and everyday people. Contracted with Hey Saturday and wedding photographer for George St Studio. She lives in Brooklyn with hundreds of plants.
